Bowes Museum winter market starts tomorrow, but we won’t be there. I must admit I feel a bit sad about it, but the event hasn’t been the same for us since it was rebranded from a Christmas market several years ago.
I had however still booked our usual outdoor space, with the intention of giving it one more chance in 2025. Then my mum suddenly passed away and I’m not ashamed to admit I’m really struggling. It’s hit me hard, and I’m just about coping with the local markets and my day job. I feel so low most of the time and trying to get a three day event covered between us felt impossible.
So, to all the regular visitors who were expecting to see us there, I’m really sorry, but I just couldn’t manage it this year. I’m not sure if we will be back in 2026 either, but never say never.
